Why Are my Eyelashes Damaged?

Many women dream of long, thick, black eyelashes, which are considered a symbol of beauty around the world. Unfortunately, the use of some mascaras as well as frequent eyelash curling can cause damage to your lashes. Dehydration and lack of nutrition can also lead to eyelash damage. Therefore, it is necessary to take proper care of your eyelashes, especially while doing eye makeup. Keeping the lashes hydrated and moisturized is one way of helping maintain them healthy and prone to less damage. If you notice eyelash loss, discontinue the use of any mascara or eye products until your eyelashes return to normal. If you’re using an eyelash curler, you may want to discontinue this practice as well. Apply a lighter coat of mascara and avoid rubbing your eyes. Always remove mascara without tugging or pulling on your lashes before going to bed. Heavy coats of mascara left on overnight can contribute to eyelash loss.
